PennDOT’s Westmoreland work plan includes bridge maintenance, slide repairs, patching

PennDOT is conducting the following work on roads in Westmoreland County this week, weather permitting:

• Bridge maintenance will take place on Yukon Road in Sewickley Township.

• Slide repairs will take place on Guffey Road in North Huntingdon Township.

• Base repairs will take place on Route 66 in Hempfield Township.

• Milling will take place on Route 380.

• Shoulder stabilizations will take place on Route 30 in Unity Township.

Pipe replacements will take place on Route 130 in Cook Township and Wilpen Road in Ligonier Township.

Sign placement/review will take place on various routes in various townships.

Mechanized patching will take place on the following:

• Creek and Hamill School roads in Fairfield Township

• Jones Mill-Stahlstown Road in Donegal Township

Seal coating will take place on the following:

Route 66 in Salem Township

Kemerer Hollow Road in Murrysville

Wilson Street and Italy Road in Murrysville and Export

Italy and Hilty roads in Murrysville and Salem Township

• Wiestertown and Kistler roads in Murrysville and Washington Township.
