There’s no crying in baseball — unless your younger brother throws back a foul ball that was gifted to him.
That was the case at the Boston Red Sox game Sunday at Fenway Park.
The New York Yankees’ Jake Bauers hit a foul ball in the third inning that was retrieved by man in the upper deck. The man turned around and handed it to little Charlie Mulligan a couple of rows behind him, according to MLB.com.
Charlie, though, threw the ball back toward the field. Older brother Jack couldn’t believe it and began crying on his father’s shoulder.

Pat Mulligan then was left trying to console both sons — his wife was at the concession stand. Happy Father’s Day!
The ordeal was caught by cameras — and by Red Sox closer Kenley Jansen.
Jansen asked a clubhouse staff member to deliver an autographed jersey and baseball to the Mulligans, according to WCVB.
