The Wilkes-Barre/Scranton Penguins have re-signed forward Jamie Devane to a one-year American Hockey League (AHL) contract for the 2021-22 season.

The 30-year-old Devane previously played for Wilkes-Barre/Scranton during the 2019-20 season, when he appeared in 36 games and recorded nine points (four goals, five assists) and a team-leading 81 penalty minutes.

Last season, Devane (6-foot-5, 231 pounds) was a member of the AHL’s San Diego Gulls. In 26 games, he scored one point and had 44 penalty minutes.

A native of Mississauga, Ont., Devane was a third-round pick (No. 68 overall) of the Toronto Maple Leafs in 2009 and played his only two career NHL games for that team in 2013-14.
