West Virginia’s game against No. 11 Oklahoma, scheduled for Saturday at Milan Puskar Stadium in Morgantown, W.Va., has been postponed, Big 12 Conference officials announced Wednesday.

The action stems from Oklahoma’s inability to meet the required covid-19 thresholds, as established by the Big 12. The conference has rescheduled the game for Dec. 12 in Morgantown. Game time and TV information will be released at a later time.

“I am disappointed for both teams, who have worked extremely hard in their preparation for this weekend’s game,” WVU Director of Athletics Shane Lyons said. “We will now look forward to honoring our seniors and hosting the Sooners on Dec 12.”

West Virginia (5-3, 4-3) next will play at No. 13 Iowa State on Dec. 5.
