West Virginia men’s basketball to open season against Robert Morris

West Virginia’s men’s basketball team will play an expanded 20 Big 12 Conference games this season, along with 11 nonconference games.
The Mountaineers’ schedule released Thursday includes 18 games at WVU Coliseum, including the season-opener Nov. 4 against Robert Morris.
WVU, with first-year coach Darian DeVries, will play its first Big 12 game at Kansas on Dec. 31. The Mountaineers have home conference games against Oklahoma State (Jan. 4), Arizona (Jan. 7), Iowa State (Jan. 18), Arizona State (Jan. 21), Houston (Jan. 29), Utah (Feb. 8), BYU (Feb. 11), Cincinnati (Feb. 19), TCU (Feb. 25) and UCF (March 8).
They will play at Pitt in the Backyard Brawl at 8 p.m. Nov. 15.
The schedule also includes a trip to the Bahamas to play Gonzaga on Nov. 27, Indiana or Louisville on Nov. 28 and Arizona, Davidson, Oklahoma or Providence on Nov. 29. WVU will host Georgetown on Dec. 6 in the Big 12-Big East Battle.
The Big 12 Championship will be March 11-15, in Kansas City, Mo.
Game times and television/streaming broadcasts will be announced in the coming weeks.
