West Point Major team opens Little League state tournament with win

West Point Little League Major Division baseball team got three RBIs from Cameron Elder and opened the state tournament Sunday at Camp Hill with a 9-5 victory against Harborcreek.

Elder had a double and single and earned the save in relief.

Dylan Firmstone had two hits and Jacob Hornyak had two RBIs.

Anthony Scarton was the winning pitcher.

Hayden Dylewski hit two home runs for Harborcreek.

West Point will face East Pennsboro at 7 p.m. Monday.
