According to the NCAA, the odds of picking a perfect NCAA bracket are 1 in 9,223,372,036,854,775,808 (if you just guess/flip a coin) or 1 in 120.2 billion (if you have some basketball knowledge).

To improve your odds, the experts at Home Field Sports offered their NCAA Tournament advice, with their picks for the Final Four and the national championship, as well as a possible Cinderella team and their best bets for the first round.

Among the tips:

  • Pick a No. 1 seed … but not all four.
  • Take some high seeds uncomfortably far.
  • Don’t go overboard with upsets.
  • Pay attention to betting lines.
