USL Championship suspends league play for at least 30 days
The United Soccer League has announced the USL Championship has temporarily suspended the 2020 season for a minimum of 30 days because of health concerns surrounding the coronavirus.

Pittsburgh Riverhounds SC was set to begin its season this Saturday on the road against the Charlotte Independence. Now, its season will be postponed until further notice. As a part of the announcement, the USL also said it will announce additional updates when appropriate.
Following in the suit of the USL, the Riverhounds also issued a statement early today in regards to affected home matches. They said that the games affected during the suspension of play will be played at a later date and tickets for those games will be honored.

The USL Championship is among several professional sports leagues to suspend or cancel play entirely. The NBA, NHL, MLS and MLB have all suspended play in some way because of health concerns surrounding the coronavirus.
