Tim Benz and Mark Madden return for this week’s edition of “Unfiltered” on TribLive’s Facebook page to talk about the Penguins recent games, NCAA men’s basketball championship, as well as the Steelers and Pirates.
After winning in Boston last week, the Penguins lost the second game of the series to the Bruins on Saturday. Penguins now get the New York Rangers and New Jersey Devils this week.
Mark Madden thinks the Penguins are in good shape and can challenge for the division. He thinks they are a really good, fundamental hockey team.
The guys also talk about how Kris Letang is playing and what happens when Evgeni Malkin and others come back from injury.
They guys also look towards the NHL playoffs and look at possible matchups for the Penguins.
Madden and Benz discuss how Gonzaga ranks among top college teams and look forward to the final Monday night versus Baylor.
The NFL draft is coming up and who the Steelers select is always up for debate. It looked like the Steelers would go with a running back or lineman, but they the team lost several players and now are facing big holes in several aspects of the team.
Benz and Madden also answer viewers comments and questions.
