Tim Benz and Mark Madden dive into the Penguins acquiring defenseman Nathan Beaulieu from the Winnipeg Jets on this week’s edition of “Unfiltered” with Mark Madden and Tim Benz on TribLive’s Facebook page.
They’re not too excited by the move. But it might be a precursor to other moves. The guys talk what else they might do and how the Penguins are looking with the playoffs coming up in May.
“I don’t see the Penguins as a team that is going to make a lot of noise in the playoffs.,” says Madden. “They just look meh.”
Benz talks about the lack of finish and scoring in the playoffs in recent years and how the team still has to address this issue.
Also they look at what the Steelers have done in free agency. Have they done enough?
“The Steelers, to me, look like the last place team in the AFC North,” says Madden.
