Tennessee fan bullied for self-made T-shirt offered scholarship

One dedicated young fan just earned a college education for showing his true colors.

After some unfortunate events for a University of Tennessee supporter, the school is offering honorary admission to UT and he has been awarded a four-year scholarship to the university.

The fourth-grade Altamonte Springs, Fla., boy drew his own version of the Tennessee logo to put on a shirt for “college colors day.” The boy didn’t have a Volunteers shirt, so he attached his own hand drawn logo onto an orange shirt. He was later ridiculed at lunch for wearing the homemade shirt.

After hearing of his UT spirit, the school sent a Volunteers gear package to his class.

The university also used his design for a shirt on their official store, with a portion of the proceeds being donated to an anti-bulling organization.
