Steelers reserve offensive lineman Trent Scott signs with Commanders

Offensive tackle Trent Scott, who served as a reserve for much of the 2022 season with the Pittsburgh Steelers, signed with the Washington Commanders on Thursday.

The Commanders announced the deal, with terms of the contract not released.

Scott played in eight games last season, including a start in Week 18 against the Cleveland Browns.

The 6-foot-5, 320-pound Scott, who signed a one-year deal with the Steelers in May 2022, had previously played for the Los Angeles Chargers and Carolina Panthers.
