Stats: Made 32 starts and appeared in 38 games over four college seasons, starting each of Maryland’s 31 games the past three seasons.

Hometown: Bowie, Md.

Tidbits: Made starts at all five positions along the offensive line during his college career, including 12 at right guard and one right tackle as a redshirt senior in 2022. … Each of his three seasons as a Terrapins’ starter were spent with Anderson making the most starts at a different position: left tackle in 2020, right tackle in 2021 and right guard last season. … According to Pro Football Focus, Anderson allowed two sacks and 15 total pressures in 515 pass blocking snap opportunities in 2022. … He was flagged only three times in 13 games this past season. … Blocked for current Steelers backup running back Anthony McFarland Jr. during his 2019 freshman season. … Is the fifth Maryland player drafted by the Steelers since 2016 and the fourth over the past five drafts. … Joining first-round tackle Broderick Jones, this is the second time over the past three draft classes that the Steelers have taken at least two offensive linemen. In 2021, they drafted Kendrick Green and Dan Moore Jr., each of whom started as rookies. Between 2013-20, the Steelers never took more than one offensive lineman in any one draft.
