Pittsburgh Steelers fans have seen quarterback Mason Rudolph make passes on the field. Now, it looks like he’s made one off the field.

Various celebrity news outlets — TMZ and Cosmopolitan, for example — are suggesting that Ben Roethlisberger’s backup is a romantic item with “Bachelor” star Hannah Ann Sluss.

Oh, the off-field drama.

Sluss — for the few who don’t watch the ABC reality show — was initially the winner of Season 24, getting engaged to Peter Weber. However, it was revealed on the March 10 “After the Final Rose” special that he dumped her for runner-up Madison Prewett. So, she’s on the rebound.

On the April 9 edition of “Off the Vine with Kaitlyn Bristowe” podcast, Sluss revealed that she’s been seeing a “mystery man.”

But it’s not like a real date. After all, these are the coronavirus times.

“I’ve had a FaceTime date,” Sluss told Bristowe.

“I’ve had someone drop me off coffee. But since times are different, I guess that can be considered kind of a date.”

Jump to last week, and TMZ reports Sluss was spotted Wednesday around Los Angeles grabbing some … yep, coffee … with — yep, again — Rudolph. TMZ said they learned it was the third time the pair had been spotted together.

TMZ’s source said, “They very much seemed lovey-dovey. He even opened her car door.”

Sure, they could be just friends who like java.

But Cosmo noticed that Sluss liked a recent Instagram story by bachelornation.scoop calling the pairing “THE UPGRADE OF THE CENTURY.”

And we all know what a “like” means. Right?

Sluss said on Bristowe’s show that “some people might know who he is.” Well, Steeler Nation is certainly “some people,” right?

Of course, Sluss insists that she’s not going to be exclusive with anyone. It’s just a “quarantine fling.”
