SPECIALISTS

9 CHRIS BOSWELL · 6-2 · 185

Last season was by far the second-worst of Boswell’s eight with the Steelers, and durability is becoming a question. But it was only 11 months ago he signed what was then an NFL-record contract for a kicker.

3 B.T. POTTER · 5-10 · 200

One of college football’s most prominent kickers over the past 4-5 years for Clemson, Potter has the leg strength and enough of a resume to be worthy of an NFL look.

6 PRESSLEY HARVIN III · 6-0 · 255

Harvin’s big leg is apparent, but over two seasons since being a seventh-round pick, consistency remains an issue. This camp, he has legitimate competition for his job.

4 BRADEN MANN · 5-11 · 198

Like Harvin, Mann was a Ray Guy Award winner as college football’s best punter, and he also was a draft pick. Mann was the Jets’ punter the past three seasons, but they let him go.

46 CHRISTIAN KUNTZ · 6-1 · 228

A product of Chartiers Valley and Duquesne, it took five NFL training camps for Kuntz to make a team — after concentrating on snapping. Kuntz has held the Steelers gig for two years, but he has competition this camp.

49 REX SUNAHARA · 6-6 · 242

Formerly of WVU and the XFL, Sunahara previously spent two in-season days on the Steelers practice squad during December 2021. He was signed off a veteran tryout at minicamp last month to push Kuntz.
