Shaquille O’Neal never has been one to shy away from making fun of himself.

Tuesday night’s episode of “NBA on TNT” speaks volumes to that statement.

Shaq “Diesel” apparently bet Dwyane Wade that the Milwaukee Bucks would beat Wade’s Miami Heat on Monday night, and Wade took the bet. Upon losing the bet (the Heat won 105-89), Shaq asked Wade what he wanted, and it wasn’t money.

Wade told Shaq that he had to grow a real hairline on TV.

“Shaqtus” did.

There was no shame as the big man rocked a fade with a well-tapered line-up that started about a third of the way past his forehead.

Though receding hairlines aren’t out of the norm, it’s rare to see a 40-something man embrace it so openly — not to mention, the sight of said bold display has a comedic value.

But hey, Shaq is man of his word.
