Robert Morris opens 2025 football season on the road with back-to-back games vs. WVU, Youngstown State
Robert Morris’ 2025 football schedule, released Tuesday by coach Bernard Clark and the Northeast Conference, will include five Saturday home games at Joe Walton Stadium.
The opener is Aug. 30 at West Virginia, a first-time opponent and the Colonials’ first game against a Big 12 team.
Before the home opener Sept. 13 against West Liberty, RMU visits Youngstown State on Sept. 6. Robert Morris and West Liberty never have met.
The Colonials are back home Sept. 20 against longtime rival Dayton before serving as host to defending NEC champion Central Connecticut State on Oct. 11.
The two other home games are against Wagner on Nov. 8 and Duquesne on Nov. 22. The Dukes will visit RMU for the first time since 2019.
The Colonials’ other road games are Oct. 4 at Merrimack, Oct. 18 at LIU, Oct. 25 at Saint Francis, Nov. 1 at Stonehill and Nov. 15 at Mercyhurst.
West Virginia is Robert Morris’ sixth all-time FBS opponent, following Air Force, Buffalo, Central Michigan, Miami (Ohio) and Utah State.
