Riverhounds learn group opponents for USL Championship season
The Pittsburgh Riverhounds have learned who their group opponents will be for the 2020 USL Championship season.
Over the past two days, the USL Championship has been revealing their eight groups for the 2020 season. It was announced on Friday that the Riverhounds will be competing in Group F with Hartford Athletic, Loudoun United FC, New York Red Bulls II and Philadelphia Union II.

Of the eight groups, five will have four teams, while three will have five. Teams will play 12 matches against their group opponents and will play their final four against a team in a similar geographical location. The top two teams from each group will advance to the playoffs at the end of the 16-game season.
Last season, the Riverhounds went 19-4-11, 6-0 against their Group F opponents, although they didn’t not play against Philadelphia Union II.
