Anderson (5-foot-11, 180 pounds) was a three-star prospect, according to Rivals.com, in Pitt’s 2021 class. When he left Riverwood (Ga.) High School, he was rated one of the nation’s top 25 cornerbacks by 247Sports after intercepting eight passes in two seasons.

Since the end of the regular season, four Pitt players have announced plans to transfer. Anderson joins wide receiver Jaylon Barden, safety Judson Tallandier II and defensive end Sam Williams.
