While in-person classes at the University of Pittsburgh will transition to online and “alternative learning options” in the wake of the coronavirus pandemic, Pitt’s athletics teams will continue their previously scheduled regimen of practices and home games, university officials announced.

That includes the resumption of football’s spring drills Tuesday at the team’s South Side practice facility and the annual Blue-Gold game April 11 at Heinz Field.

Meanwhile, the current spring break will be extended to March 23.
