Pitt received its second commitment from the class of 2020 Saturday when offensive lineman Michael Statham announced on Twitter he will enroll next year.

Statham, who attends St. Frances High School in Baltimore, has nine scholarship offers from Power 5 schools, including LSU, Michigan, Michigan State and West Virginia.

Statham (6-foot-6, 320 pounds) is rated a three-star prospect by Rivals.com. He is the No. 2-ranked tackle in Maryland and the No. 21 player overall.

Pitt has two nonbinding verbal commitments from next year’s senior class. Defensive end Sam Williams of Fort Lauderdale, Fla., committed April 6.
