INDIANAPOLIS (Triple-A, 2-2) lost 4-3 to Iowa (Cubs) in 10 innings. With a runner on second to lead off the top of the 10th, SS Cole Tucker lined a ball off the pitcher that the second baseman collected and threw to first for an out. Tucker was ejected for arguing the call. 2B Kevin Kramer struck out and 1B Will Craig grounded out. In the bottom of the inning, Iowa won when Andrew Romine scored on a passed ball by C Andrew Susac. Tucker was 2 for 5. Craig doubled and drove in three runs. Susac went 2 for 4. Kramer had a triple. RHP James Marvel started and allowed two runs on five hits and three walks in five innings. He whiffed five. RHP Shea Spitzbarth gave up the tying run on a homer from veteran LF Cameron Maybin in the eighth. RHP Tyler Bashlor took the loss in the 10th.

Next: Saturday at Iowa (Cubs), 8:08 p.m.

ALTOONA (Double-A , 1-3) beat Bowie (Orioles) in 10 innings, 5-4. 3B Rodolfo Castro hit a lead-off, walk-off RBI single in the bottom of the ninth, scoring 1B Mason Martin, who started the inning on second base as per tie-breaker rule. Castro also homered in the fourth, going 3 for 5. SS Oneil Cruz hit a two-out game-tying RBI single in the ninth. He went 2 for 5. RHP Yerry De Los Santos pitched two hitless innings of relief to get the win. Starter RHP Max Kranick allowed two runs on six hits in 5.2 innings, striking out four and walking none. CF Jonah Davis went 2 for 4 with a solo home run. 2B Ethan Paul stole a pair of bases.

Next: Saturday vs. Bowie (Orioles), 4 p.m.

GREENSBORO (High-A, 2-2) lost 8-4 to Hickory (Rangers). RHP Michael Burrows, an 11th-round pick in 2018, made a brilliant start for the Grasshoppers, striking out eight in four innings. The only baserunner he allowed reached on an error by SS Liover Peguero. RHP Trey McGough followed with two more hitless innings, giving Greenboro a no-hitter through six. RHP Austin Roberts and RHP Garrett Leonard combined to give up eight runs in the last three innings. 1B Aaron Shackleford went 2 for 4 with a two-run homer. Peguero and SS Nick Gonzales both went 1 for 4 and scored a run.

Next: Saturday vs. Hickory (Rangers), 6:30 p.m.

BRADENTON (Low-A, 1-3) lost 2-1 to Fort Myers (Twins). 3B Alexander Mojica and SS Maikol Escotto went 2 for 4 for the Marauders, who managed just five hits. RHP Domingo Gonzalez started and pitched 3.2 innings, giving up two runs on two hits, walking two and fanning four. Relievers Alex Aquino and J.C. Flowers combined to pitch 5.1 innings of scoreless relief.
