INDIANAPOLIS (Triple-A, 13-12) and Louisville (Reds) were rained out. Thursday’s game, which was suspended with the score tied 5-5 in the ninth inning, will be completed at 5:30 p.m. Saturday before the teams play a regular nine-inning game at 6:35 p.m. Friday’s game will be made up as part of a doubleheader at 1:05 p.m. Aug. 3.

Next: Saturday vs. Louisville (Reds), 6:35.

ALTOONA (Double-A, 11-14) beat Erie (Tigers), 2-1. LHP Omar Cruz (2-2, 2.86) started and went five innings, allowing one run on four hits with four strikeouts and no walks. RHP Brad Case (0.00) threw two scoreless innings of relief. LHP Zach Matson (3.38) and RHP Colin Selby (0.96) each pitched a scoreless frame. C Blake Sabol (.300) hit an RBI double in the sixth to break a 1-1 tie. He went 1 for 4. CF Lolo Sanchez (.338) was 2 for 4 with an RBI single. SS Liover Peguero (.337) went 1 for 4 and stole his seventh base. 2B Nick Gonzales (.203) went 0 for 3.

Next: Saturday at Erie (Tigers), 4:05 p.m.

GREENSBORO (High-A, 11-14) lost 6-5 to Asheville (Astros). RHP Nick Garcia (6.06) started and gave up four runs on two hits and three walks in 2.2 innings. RHP Jack Carey (1-3, 3.29) took the loss, allowing two runs on four hits and a walk in 1.1 innings. SS Dariel Lopez (.217) went 1 for 2 with his fourth home run, a solo shot. 2B Yoyner Fajardo (.357) went 2 for 3 with a walk, a run scored and his sixth stolen base. LF Hudson Head (.254) went 1 for 4 with an RBI. The Grasshoppers scored five runs on only four hits, benefitting from eight walks and an Asheville error.

Next: Friday vs Asheville (Astros), 6:30 p.m.

BRADENTON (Low-A, 13-12) was clobbered by Tampa (Yankees), 9-3. RHP Po-Yu Chen (0-1, 4.43) started and was tagged for four runs on four hits and two walks in 3.2 innings. He struck out seven. RHP Wilkin Ramos (1.26) gave up four runs on two hits and three walks in an inning of relief. 3B Brenden Dixon (.261) went 2 for 3 and hit his fourth home run, a solo shot. 2B Mike Jarvis (.250) was 2 for 4 with a double and an RBI. LF Jase Bowen (.235) was 1 for 3 with a double.
