INDIANAPOLIS (Triple-A, 1-0) blanked Iowa (Cubs), 3-0. Chase DeJong allowed two hits and struck out 10 in six innings. Geoff Hartlieb, Chasen Shreve and Jandel Gustave each pitched a perfect inning of relief with Gustave earning the save. CF Travis Swaggerty, a 2018 first-round pick, went 3 for 4 and led off the game with a home run. RF Chris Sharpe and C Joe Hudson had two hits apiece.

Next: Wednesday at Iowa (Cubs), 7:38 p.m.

ALTOONA (Double-A, 0-1) lost 2-1 to Bowie (Orioles). Roansy Contreras started for the Curve and pitched five scoreless innings, striking out a career-high 11 and walking none. Jeffrey Passantino followed with two innings of scoreless relief. Bowie scored one run in the eighth and one in the ninth off Yerry De Los Santos. SS Oneil Cruz went 2 for 4 and scored a run. LF Canaan Smith-Njigba doubled.

Next: Wednesday vs. Bowie (Orioles), 6 p.m.

GREENSBORO (High A, 0-1) lost 7-5 to Hickory (Rangers). Quinn Priester, a 2019 first-round pick, started and gave up six runs, three of them earned, on four hits and two walks in three innings. Austin Roberts and Garrett Leonard each threw two scoreless innings of relief. SS Liover Peguero went 1 for 4 with a three-run homer that gave the Grasshoppers a 3-2 lead in the second inning. CF Matt Gorski hit a two-run shot in the fifth. SS Nick Gonzales, a first-round pick in 2020, went 1 for 4 with a double and a walk. 1B Aaron Shackleford went 2 for 5.

Next: Wednesday vs. Hickory (Rangers), 6:30 p.m.

BRADENTON (Low A, 0-1) fell to Fort Myers (Twins), 6-3. 3B Alexander Mojica hit a two-run home run in the seventh to give the Marauders a 3-2 lead. Oliver Mateo blew a save, allowing four runs on two hits and three walks in the ninth. Luis Ortiz started and gave up one run on two hits and two walks in three innings. He struck out five. J.C. Flowers pitched three scoreless innings of relief, allowing one hit, walking none and fanning three. C Endy Rodriguez went 2 for 4 with a double. 1B Will Matthiessen went 1 for 4 with a triple.
