INDIANAPOLIS (Triple-A, 16-17) was smashed by Charlotte (White-Sox), 12-2, managing just two hits. RHP Miguel Yajure (6.75) started and lasted just two-thirds of an inning, giving up two runs on one hit, a home run, with four walks. RHP Matt Eckelman (0-3, 13.11) came on and surrendered six runs on six hits, including three homers, in 1.2 innings. 1B Mason Martin (.248) went 1 for 3 with a double and a run scored. RF Cal Mitchell (.309) went 1 for 4. LF Oneil Cruz (.175) went 0 for 4 with three strikeouts.

Next: Saturday at Charlotte (White-Sox), 1:05 p.m.

ALTOONA (Double-A, 14-18) lost to Somerset (Yankees), 8-7. RHP Tahnaj Thomas (2-3, 4.63) gave up three runs on three hits, including a homer, in the ninth to take the loss. RHP Mike Burrows (2.35) started and was touched up for four runs on six hits and two walks in four innings. He struck out five. DH Aaron Shackelford (.235) went 1 for 3 with a two-run home run, his fourth. SS Liover Peguero (.327) went 2 for 5 with a triple and two RBIs. 3B Tucupita Marcano (.242) went 3 for 5 with a double. LF Matt Fraizer (.176) was 2 for 5 with two stolen bases. 2B Nick Gonzales (.202) went 1 for 2 with two walks.

Next: Sunday vs Somerset (Yankees), 1 p.m.

GREENSBORO (High-A, 13-18) was beaten by Hickory (Rangers), 7-5. RHP Adrian Florencio (1-4, 7.54) started and gave up four runs on five hits, including two homers, in 4.2 innings. RHP Eddy Yean (.900) got one out and allowed three runs on three hits. 1B Jacob Gonzalez (.600) went 2 for 4 with a triple. C Endy Rodriguez (.283) went 3 for 4 with two doubles but left the game in seventh with an injury. 2B Dariel Lopez (.235) went 2 for 4 with a double.

Next: Sunday at Hickory (Rangers), 3 p.m.

BRADENTON (Low-A, 15-17) was swept by Jupiter (Marlins) in a doubleheader. In the first game, a 3-1 Marauders loss, RHP Po-Yu Chen (0-2, 4.62) started and went five innings, allowing three runs on six hits with five strikeouts. C Wyatt Hendrie (.213) went 2 for 3. CF Rodolfo Nolasco (.198) went 1 for 3 with a double.

In the second game, a 4-3 Marauders loss, RHP Justin Meis (3.60) of Bethel Park started and gave up three runs on six hits in six innings. RHP Yunior Thibo (3-1, 4.15) gave up an unearned run in the seventh to take the loss. 1B Alexander Mojica (.200) went 1 for 3 with a three-run homer. LF Luke Brown (.214) went 2 for 3. RF Sergio Campana (.189) went 1 for 2 with a double and a walk.
