Pirates farm report for June 12, 2022: Ernny Ordonez, Fabricio Macias carry Greensboro to win

INDIANAPOLIS (Triple-A, 30-28) dropped an 11-5 decision to Columbus (Guardians). SS/RF Hoy Park (.250) went 3 for 5 with two runs scored from the leadoff spot. CF Ji-hwan Bae (.303) was 2 for 5 with an RBI. 3B Rodolfo Castro (.232) hit a two-run home run and had three RBIs. PH/SS Oneil Cruz (.236) doubled in his lone at-bat. RHP Jerad Eickehoff (3-3, 5.27) allowed three runs on four hits with three walks in 2 1/3 innings of relief and was dealt the loss.

Next: Tuesday at Gwinnett (Braves), 7:05 p.m.

ALTOONA (Double-A, 28-29) earned a 5-2 victory at Reading (Phillies). CF Jared Triolo (.278) was 2 for 5 with two RBIs, including a solo home run. LF Matthew Fraizer (.204) hit an RBI double. 3B Andres Alvarez (.268) was 1 for 3 with two RBIs. LHP Omar Cruz (3-3, 5.89) earned the win after allowing two runs on two hits with three walks and four strikeouts in 2 2/3 innings of relief.

Next: Tuesday vs. Erie (Tigers), 6 p.m.

GREENSBORO (High-A, 24-32) edged Winston-Salem (White Sox), 11-10. 3B Ernny Ordonez (.209) smacked a three-run home run and was 2 for 5 with four RBIs. RF Fabricio Macias (.292) was 3 for 5 with four RBIs, including a two-run homer. SS Dariel Lopez (.226) was 3 for 5 with two doubles and an RBI. RHP Oliver Mateo (1-1, 6.97) picked up the win after tossing a no-hit inning of relief with two walks and a strikeout. RHP Cameron Junker (3.43) notched his fifth save after striking out two batters in the ninth inning.

Next: Tuesday vs. Hudson Valley (Yankees), 6:30 p.m.

BRADENTON (Low-A, 26-31) used a four-run fifth inning to take down Clearwater (Phillies), 6-1. CF Sergio Campana (.195) hit a solo home run and scored three times. DH Luke Brown (.239) was 2 for 4 with three RBIs. 1B Jase Bowen (.247) was 2 for 4 with an RBI. C Wyatt Hendrie (.232) also was 2 for 4 with an RBI. RHP Aaron Shortridge (0.00) started and allowed one hit with one walk and four strikeouts in three innings of a no-decision. RHP Brennan Malone (1-0, 4.50) allowed one run on two hits with a walk and three strikeouts in two innings to earn the win.
