INDIANAPOLIS (Triple-A, 0-2) lost 2-1 in a pitchers’ duel with Iowa (Cubs). RHP Mike Burrows (0.00) started and went 3⅔ innings, allowing three hits and no walks with four strikeouts. RHP Chase Shugart (0.00) worked two scoreless innings and RHP Kyle Nicolas (13.50) and RHP Hunter Stratton (0.00) each threw a scoreless frame. RHP Eddy Yean gave up two runs on one hit and three walks in the ninth to take the loss. RF Matt Gorski (.200) went 1 for 3 with a walk, a stolen base and an RBI. 2B Nick Yorke (.250) went 1 for 4 with a walk and a run scored. LF Bryce Johnson (.167) went 1 for 3 with a walk and a double.
