Jake's Shake no more, but Rusty’s ready to pour for Penguins' home opener
Jake Guentzel is gone, but the shake remains. It’s now being taken over by Penguins winger Bryan Rust.
Formerly named Jake’s Shake, the Milkshake Factory favorite was discontinued after Guentzel was traded to the Carolina Hurricanes last March.
In a new partnership with the Milkshake Factory, the Pittsburgh Penguins announced a new order: Rusty’s Shake.
INTRODUCING: RUSTY’S SHAKE!
We are thrilled to announce that Bryan Rust will be bringing back Pittsburgh's favorite milkshake, and half-off at the @MShakeFactory after every Rusty goal.
And to top it off, Rusty’s Shake will be HALF-OFF tomorrow to celebrate the start of hockey! pic.twitter.com/CKKCn7xeev

It will be half-off after every Rusty goal, according to a post on X. The shake is half-off on Wednesday to celebrate the Penguins’ home opener.
Rust himself took to X to share his thoughts on his new shake.
“Super excited to be bringing the 1/2 off shakes back to the burgh! Make sure you all go grab one as soon as you can!” he said in the post.

The new shake will feature a chocolate piece with Rust’s number 17 instead of Guentzel’s number 58.
