Penguins to wear alternate jerseys against Rangers

The Penguins will wear white alternate jerseys for Monday’s road game against the New York Rangers.

With the NHL struggling to generate revenue this season as a result of limited ticket revenue because of the pandemic, the league has made all 31 active teams don alternate jerseys this season.

The Penguins will wear a white alternate jersey on the following dates:

Feb. 1 — at NY Rangers

Feb. 23 — at Washington

March 13 — at Buffalo

March 21 — at New Jersey

April 3 — at Boston

April 15 — vs. Philadelphia

They will wear a yellow alternate jersey on the following dates:

Feb. 4 — vs. New Jersey

Feb. 16 — vs. Washington

Feb. 20 — vs. NY Islanders

March 4 — vs. Philadelphia

March 9 — vs. NY Rangers

March 16 — vs. Boston

March 26 — vs. Buffalo

April 22 — vs. New Jersey

April 25 — vs. Boston
