Penguins draft defenseman Kalle Kangas in 7th round

With their final selection of the NHL Draft at Bridgestone Arena, the Pittsburgh Penguins chose defenseman Kalle Kangas No. 223 overall.
A native of Finland, Kangas played for Jokerit at the junior level during the 2022-23 season. Appearing in 42 games, Kangas had nine points (one goal, eight assists).
The left-handed shot is listed at 6-foot-4 and 205 pounds.
