Oakmont’s Devin Gee cruises to Tri-State PGA title

Oakmont Country Club head professional Devin Gee cruised to the Tri-State PGA Section Championship title on Tuesday by finishing with an 11-under par 131 at Indiana Country Club.

Gee shot a 1-under par 70 on Tuesday after breaking the course record Monday by shooting a 10-under par 61.

Gee, Allegheny Country Club pro John Aber, South Hills Country Club’s Tony Traci, Pa. Golf Academy’s Gene Walters and Carnegie Mellon’s Daniel Rodgers all qualified for the PGA Club Pro Championship in 2020.

Aber finished with a 2-under 140 while Traci, Walter and Rodgers finished with a 1-under 141.

The alternates are Joe Boros, Jason Robinson, Ari Papadopoulos and Aaron Gizzi.
