Running back Najee Harris was added to the Pittsburgh Steelers’ injury report Tuesday because of a knee ailment.

Though the Steelers held a mere walkthrough, the league-mandated status report listed Harris as a “did not participate.”

Harris was not among those listed by coach Mike Tomlin as nursing injuries after Sunday’s game against the Arizona Cardinals nor in his weekly news conference Monday. The Steelers have a short week in preparation for hosting the New England Patriots on Thursday.

Two starters who left the loss to the Cardinals early because of injury — guard Isaac Seumalo and inside linebacker Elandon Roberts — were listed as limited participants Tuesday. Seumalo has a shoulder injury and Roberts a groin ailment.

Other starters who maintained a “limited” designation for the second consecutive day were center Mason Cole (neck) and defensive lineman Keeanu Benton (oblique).

Reserve cornerback James Pierre (shoulder) was deemed a “DNP” for the second day in a row, and defensive tackle Montravius Adams was given a “full participation” designation for the second straight day. Adams has missed the past four games because of an ankle injury, but Tomlin indicated Adams will return to game action Thursday.

All-Pro safety Minkah Fitzpatrick suffered a broken hand during the first half of Sunday’s game but did not miss any playing time. He will carry an injury designation for the foreseeable future but is not expected to miss any game action.

It was previously announced that quarterback Kenny Pickett (ankle) would miss the Patriots game.
