Minor league report: Tokarski, Penguins shut out Bruins

Goaltender Dustin Tokarski made 23 saves for the Wilkes-Barre/Scranton Penguins in a 1-0 shutout of the Providence Bruins at Mohegan Sun Arena in Wilkes-Barre on Friday.

Tokarski recorded his first shutout of the season for the Penguins (15-11-3-1) while forward Anthony Angello scored the only goal.

Highlights:

The Penguins will play the Bridgeport Sound Tigers at Webster Bank Arena in Bridgeport, Conn. on Saturday, 7:05 p.m.

In his debut with the Wheeling Nailers, goaltender Emil Larmi made 26 saves in a 3-0 shutout of the Toledo Walleye at WesBanco Arena in Wheeling.

Forward Christopher Brown scored two goals for the Nailers (13-10-4-0) while forward Marc-Olivier Duquette added two assists. Wheeling has a three-game winning streak.

The Nailers will play the Kalamazoo Wings at home on Saturday, 7:05 p.m.
