Minor league report: Penguins beaten by Bears

Goaltender Max Lagace made 27 saves on 29 shots for the Wilkes-Barre/Scranton Penguins in a 3-1 road loss to the rival Hershey Bears at the Giant Center in Hershey, Pa. on Saturday.

Forward Zach Nastasiuk scored the only goal for Wilkes-Barre/Scranton (1-2-1).

Highlights:

The Penguins’ next game is a home contest against the Bears on Wednesday, 5 p.m.

Goaltender Francois Brassard made 27 saves on 30 shots for the Wheeling Nailers in a 4-2 road loss to the Fort Wayne Komets at the Allen County War Memorial Coliseum in Fort Wayne, Ind. on Saturday.

Forwards Austin Fyten and Cody Sylvester each scored goals for Wheeling (5-11-4) which has lost three consecutive games.

Highlights:

The Nailers’ next game is a road contest against the Komets on Sunday, 5 p.m.
