Minor league report: Anthony Angello, Josh Currie lead Penguins past Devils

Forwards Anthony Angello and Josh Currie each had two goals and an assist for the Wilkes-Barre/Scranton Penguins in a 6-3 home win against the Binghamton Devils at Mohegan Sun Arena in Wilkes-Barre on Wednesday.

Defensemen P.O Joseph and Cam Lee each recorded two assists for Wilkes-Barre/Scranton (11-11-4-2) while forward Jody Bellerive added a goal and an assist. Goaltender Alex D’Orio made 21 saves on 24 shots in the victory.

Highlights:

The Nailers’ next game is a home contest against the Devils on Saturday, 5 p.m.
