Minkah Fitzpatrick, Montravius Adams remain out, George Pickens to play Sunday for Steelers

It was a surprise earlier this week when George Pickens ended up on the Pittsburgh Steelers’ injury report. By Friday, Pickens was back to fully practicing, and he had an explanation for why he missed some time.
“I just got kicked in my shin,” Pickens said. “A little UFC action, I guess.”
While Pickens will play in Sunday’s game at the Cincinnati Bengals, All-Pro safety Minkah Fitzpatrick will not. Fitzpatrick will miss a fourth consecutive game because of a hamstring injury suffered during the Oct. 29 loss to the Jacksonville Jaguars. He has not practiced since.
Defensive tackle Montravius Adams returned to practice this week — each day, in a limited capacity — but he remains out. Adams will miss a third consecutive game because of an ankle injury suffered during a Nov. 2 win against the Tennessee Titans.
Reserve cornerback James Pierre (shoulder) did not practice Friday and is listed as questionable to play Sunday.
Defensive lineman Cameron Heyward (groin) and outside linebacker Nick Herbig (hamstring) were given the official green light to play Sunday, despite Heyward being limited in practice Friday.
