The Pittsburgh Steelers will be without their designated top backup at outside linebacker Sunday when they play the Baltimore Ravens at Acrisure Stadium.
Malik Reed was removed from the injury report Saturday, yet he was among five players scratched from the game-day roster.
Also inactive were quarterback Mason Rudolph, cornerback Josh Jackson, guard Kendrick Green and inside linebacker Mark Robinson.
On Friday, Reed was listed as questionable with a back injury. He did not practice Wednesday and was a full participant Thursday and Friday. Acquired from the Denver Broncos before the start of the season, Reed started two games and played in all 12 until Sunday. He has one sack, 24 tackles and two pass breakups.
Without Reed, the Steelers will have Jamir Jones as the lone backup to starters T.J. Watt and Alex Highsmith.
Inactive for the Ravens are quarterback Lamar Jackson, linebackers Josh Bynes and David Ojabo, guard Kevin Zeitler and tight ends Nick Boyle and Charlie Kolar.
