Harness Racing was shutdown at the Meadows Racetrack and Casino on March 16. Since then, owners, trainers and drivers have had to find a way to make ends meet.

After a nearly three-month hiatus because of the coronavirus pandemic, live harness racing is returning to the Meadows Racetrack.

On Friday, The Meadows Racetrack & Casino announced live harness racing will be returning Monday, with a new first post of 12:45 p.m.

The 10-race card will feature two carryover bets. The Pick 5 in Race 6 has a $2,026.34 carryover, and the Hi 5 in the 10th race has a $5,243.61 carryover.

Racing at the Meadows will continue on a four-day-a-week schedule — Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Saturday — with a 12:45 p.m. post each day.
