Joe Lewandowski is bringing home the gold.
The Point Park men’s basketball coach took Team USA to Amsterdam this week for the FIBA 3×3 World Cup and the Americans finished with a perfect 7-0 record to win the championship.
The U.S. team captured the title for the first time in its fifth try after an 18-14 victory over Latvia (5-2) in the gold medal game. That win followed a 22-8 semifinal victory over Poland (5-2).
The U.S. claimed the silver medal in 2016.
