Four months from now, fans will hear the firing of motors at Lernerville Speedway as the 2023 season gets rolling.

Lernerville officials over the weekend released the upcoming season’s schedule of events. The slate is highlighted by additional Fab4 Revved Up with Marburger Farm Dairy events on Friday nights.

That begins with opening night on April 21 preceded by a pair of Test & Tune sessions April 7 and 14 with all of the divisions including the Peoples Natural Gas Sprints, Precise Racing Products Late Models, Diehl Automotive Modifieds, and the Millerstown Pic-A-Part Pro Stocks.

Lernerville also will host national and regional series including the Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series, Tezos All Star Circuit of Champions presented by Mobil 1, United Late Model Series (ULMS), Bicknell Racing Products (BRP) Modified Tour, United E-Mod Series (UEMS), as well as the Hovis Auto & Truck Supply RUSH Late Models, RUSH Sprints and RUSH Sportsman Modifieds.

The ULMS Late Models debut for the Willie & Conda McConnell Memorial on May 12, one week before the BRP Modified Tour joins the Fab4 on May 19.

The Milllerstown Pic-A-Part Pro Stocks will compete for a $1,000 top prize while the Allegheny Sprint Tour will race May 26.

The Fab4 Mid-Season Championships on June 16 offer guaranteed starting spots for the 17th annual Firecracker 100, presented by Big River Steel (June 22-24) and the Don Martin Memorial Silver Cup XXXII (Tuesday, July 18).

The Firecracker 100 features the stars of Lucal Oil Late Model Dirt Series for $50,000 to win. A new format has twin $5,000-to-win feature events Thursday and Friday. The Hovis Auto & Truck Supply RUSH Touring Series also will be that weekend with the $20,000-to-win Bill Emig Memorial.

The $25,000-to-win Don Martin Memorial features the All-Star Circuit of Champions and the Allegheny Sprint Tour.

The RUSH Summer Showcase — Touring Late Models, Sportsman Modifieds and Sprints and Precise Late Models — will return July 21.

August will have a number of Fab4 events, including Championship Night on Aug. 18.

The Peluso Roofing Sprint Car Spectacular for the Peoples Sprints, Allegheny Sprint Tour and the RUSH Sprints is Aug. 26.

The stretch run features the Schaltenbrand Memorial on Sept. 9 with ULMS Late Models, UEMS Modifieds and a $1,000-to-win special for the Millerstown Pic-A-Part Pro Stocks.

The 2023 season concludes with the 15th Steel City Stampede on Oct. 12-14 and features multiple divisions including the Peoples Sprints, ULMS/Precise Late Models, Diehl Automotive Modifieds, Millerstown Pic-A-Part Pro Stocks, UEMS Modifieds, Allegheny Sprint Tour, RUSH Late Model Touring Series, RUSH Sportsman Modifieds, RUSH Sprints, Mini Stocks and an Enduro.

School bus races, endure and bike races will be June 10 and Sept. 2, while additional Test & Tune sessions, with free grandstand admission, will be May 23, July 11 and Aug. 15.

Jason Shank, with more than 20 years of experience in the racing industry, is the new Lernerville Speedway general manager.
