Arizona sophomore Jordan Geist, a Knoch graduate, was named Male Athlete of the Meet for the second straight year at the Pac-12 championships Sunday night in Tucson, Ariz.

Geist defended his conference title in the shot put on Saturday with a throw of 21.08 meters, the furthest distance at the championships since 2011. He became the first Arizona male athlete to win back-to-back shot put titles.
