Plummeting temperatures and expected snow and ice will impact dozens of states over the weekend, meteorologists are warning.

As a result of inclement and extreme weather warnings, the ACC announced several game time and television network changes for Saturday.

Pitt’s noon tip-off at Petersen Events Center vs. N.C. State remains in place, but the game will now air on ESPNU instead of ESPN2.

Other changes that day include:

• Wake Forest at Duke moves from 5:45 p.m. to noon, airing on the CW

• North Carolina at Virginia moves from 2 p.m. to noon, now airing on ESPN2

• Virginia Tech at Louisville moves from 3:45 to 2:15 p.m. airing on the CW

Along similar lines, Duquesne announced a tip-off change of its Saturday women’s basketball game vs. Saint Joseph’s at UPMC Cooper Fieldhouse.

That game, originally scheduled for 2 p.m., will now begin at noon. There is no change in the broadcast (ESPN+).
