Franklin Regional grad Colin Jonov invited to Bills rookie minicamp

Colin Jonov, a cornerback, has been invited to attend Buffalo Bills rookie minicamp, according to his Twitter account.

The 2014 Franklin Regional graduate spent the past season as a graduate transfer at Pitt, where he played in 11 games, mainly on special teams.

He transferred from Bucknell, where he had 25 career starts, with six interceptions, including one he returned a school-record 95 yards against Lafayette. The interception came in overtime. He also returned an interception 64 yards for a score against Marist.

Jonov was an All-Patriot League defensive back and a three-time member of the Patriot League Academic Honor Roll.

He was a member of the Tribune-Review Terrific 25.
