Former WWE superstar Ashley Massaro dead at 39
Former WWE superstar Ashley Massaro died Thursday.
She was 39.
According to TMZ Sports, Massaro was transported from her home in Suffolk County, N.Y. to a nearby hospital where she died Thursday morning.
The death has been classified as “non-criminal,” but officials did not reveal the cause of death, TMZ reported.
World Wrestling Entertainment confirmed Massaro’s passing in a tweet.

Massaro was the winner of the “2005 RAW Diva Search,” which came with a $250,000, 1-year contract.
She performed with WWE from 2005-2008.
In 2007, she appeared on “Survivor: China,” where she was voted off the show in the second episode.
She also appeared on the April 2007 cover of Playboy Magazine.
The pro wrestling nation took to Twitter to offer their condolences.
