First call: Miles Sanders to Steelers?; Tiger wrecks bookies; Lightning nearly fried

In “First Call” Monday, there’s a chance the Steelers could draft Miles Sanders. Le’Veon Bell continues to illustrate Twitter schizophrenia. Tiger Woods killed bookies. The Lightning are about to fall just as hard as the Penguins.
Sounds good to me
USA Today’s Draft Wire site updated its five-round mock draft. And it has the Steelers taking a local guy.
No, not Chase Winovich from Thomas Jefferson. It’s Miles Sanders from Woodland Hills.
The site has the Steelers taking the Penn State running back with their second third-round pick.
I’d like that pick in this slot. But only if the Steelers have addressed corner, linebacker and pass rusher by then.
Sanders finished second in the Big Ten and 15th in the nation with 1,274 rushing yards.
Huh?
That Le’Veon Bell, he’s a great bunch of guys.
Yup. Bell continues to show online multiple-personality disorder. After months of acting like he was a victim of Steelers fans not understanding his contract dispute and doing whatever he could to ostracize himself from the Steelers fan base, Bell is now sucking up to Steelers fans on the way out the door.
Gonna miss y’all too… Still got so much love for the fans of #SteelerNation ?? https://t.co/qLH2eLRs05

Anything for likes and retweets, right Le’V? Maybe that guy will buy your awful rap album now.
So we aren’t alone?
Penguins fans aren’t the only ones enduring the reality of a 3-0 series deficit.
So are supporters of the Tampa Bay Lightning.
This was supposed to be the year for Tampa. After an NHL record-tying 62 regular-season wins, the eighth-place Blue Jackets were supposed to be a mere first-round speed bump en route to a Stanley Cup.
So much for that.
The Bolts have now lost all three games to start the postseason. Like the Pens, one more loss and they are done. Cam Atkinson’s empty-netter sealed the deal for the Jackets on Sunday night as they grabbed Game 3, 3-1.

Columbus looks to complete the sweep Tuesday night. Their game starts at 7 p.m. The Penguins and Islanders begin at 7:30 p.m.
Tiger takes the house
Tiger Woods’ win at the Masters cleaned the clock of multiple bookmakers.
Check out these numbers compiled by ESPN.com.
• A gambler at William Hill U.S. Sportsbook placed an $85,000 bet on Woods to win at 14-1 odds. It will pay out $1.19 million, the largest single golf ticket in the company’s history in the U.S. It’s just the fourth payout of over $1 million. The other three were on the Eagles to beat the Patriots in the Super Bowl two years ago.
• The SuperBook at Westgate Las Vegas reported a high-five-figure net loss on its Masters futures.
• Offshore sportsbook BetOnline.ag told ESPN that Woods’ victory produced the company’s biggest loss on a futures market, greater than any loss it had suffered, even on the Super Bowl.
I know, it’s always sad to see the house lose, right?
