Austin Bold FC scored early and held on the rest of the way to deal a 1-0 loss to the Pittsburgh Riverhounds on Sunday at Highmark Stadium.

Collin Fernandez scored 55 seconds into the match for Austin Bold FC (2-2-1), which stiffled a intense Riverhounds attack for the remainder of the contest.

The Hounds (2-3-1) held 74% of possession and had a 10-4 edge in shots but could not get the equalizer.

Reserve Tommy Williamson had three shots for the Hounds and was named the team’s man of the match.

The Hounds will next host Miami FC (5-2-0) at 7 p.m. Saturday at Highmark Stadium.
