Strawberry Festival

Bethlehem Lutheran Church in Glenshaw will hold a Strawberry Festival on June 10 from 4-8 p.m. Admission is $6 and children under 5 are free. Cost includes strawberry shortcake, ice cream and a drink. There will also be a bake sale, homemade jam sale, basket raffles and children’s activities. Great Gardens Tour

Walk through five spectacular local gardens packed with creative ideas, colorful blooms, ponds and paths. The 15th annual Shaler Garden Club’s Great Gardens Tour is from 11 a.m.-3 p.m. July 9. Proceeds benefit the Shaler North Hills Library. Tickets can be purchased at the library, located at 1822 Mt. Royal Blvd., for $15 in advance, or $18 the day of the tour.

Tickets are also available online on the library’s website. The ticket includes hosted visits to the five beautiful gardens and a chance to win a prize basket. The event is held rain or shine.
