Is it just me, or has anyone else noted the similarities between the 1936 Olympic games held in Nazi Germany and the 2022 winter Olympic Games in Beijing? A pre-Olympics crackdown on potential dissidents with many people arrested; up to 1.8 million Uyghurs in forced labor camps. The Chinese Communist Party does not want foreigners to speak to Chinese citizens who question or reject its rule. I for one plan not to watch any of the events.
