Letter to the editor: Trump’s whims

I have a conspiracy theory of my own.

Before I ramble like President Trump, let me start by using a political cartoon that appeared in the Trib. There were three drawings: a old man saying he can’t afford heat or medicine, an old woman saying she can’t afford food and Trump saying he wants a big new ballroom in the White House.

The first two are correct; the third is wrong. Instead of a big new ballroom, he should be putting a gigantic outhouse in its place, for all of the crap that goes on, plus all of the Republican butt-kissing that Congress does.

Now for the conspiracy theory: How is it that a person in three national elections only won the popular vote once? I think he bought two elections by paying off the Electoral College, and the time he lost, people got tired of him and the Electoral College.

Trump comes up with any conspiracy theory he can and everyone, especially Congress, jumps at his whims.

I have total respect for the office of the president, the most important job in the world. But I do not have to respect the person in that office.
