For all you veterans who proudly wore T-shirts stating “Veterans for Trump,” the Trump regime now has plans to cut 80,000 jobs from the Department of Veterans Affairs, 25% of whom are veterans.

As part of his pause on intelligence sharing with Ukraine, President Trump suspended access to satellite imagery that its military used in its war with Russia. He seems to be taking Russian President Vladimir Putin’s side, saying Putin is a “genius.”

As a veteran, I know, as all veterans should, that NATO is so important to the security of our country if we are ever attacked. Trump has said he wants the U.S. to withdraw from NATO. Some of our European allies have stated that they do not trust the USA now that Trump is in office.

He disgraced the Congressional Medal of Honor by stating, while giving his billionaire friend the Presidential Medal of Freedom, that the Medal of Freedom is better than the Medal of Honor “because everyone (who) gets the Congressional Medal of Honor … (are) either in very bad shape because they’ve been hit so many times by bullets or they are dead.”

If you veterans want the truth about what is going to happen to our benefits, seek out the real truth. I’m betting Fox News’ Sean Hannity and Laura Ingraham will never mention it.

I’ll never believe Trump is sincere when he says “thank you for your service.”
